Our 9th season kicks off this Sunday at Headhouse Market!
While looking back at Season 8 newsletters, I learned that last year’s first “At the Market” email started on this optimistic note: “Can you believe it? Maybe it’s just the warm weather talking, but Landon and I have a good feeling about this one.” Turns out, I’m no Nostradamus, and yet I’m feeling inspired to make another prediction… Maybe’s it’s just the warm weather talking, but Landon and I have a good feeling about this one!
Our “problem child” field is in hiatus this year, with a nice, new piece of ground taking its place. Our spring beds have remained dry enough to plant and weed on schedule, and Landon’s elaborate high tunnel moat protected our earliest crops from the heavy rains. I’m not willing to claim that we have everything (or even most things) figured out, but we seem to be trending in the right direction.
As is customary in Spring, the farm is bristling with possibility. Landon and I can’t wait to see what this season has in store, and we’re even more excited to share it with all of you. Thanks for joining us!
