Garden Stake is a CSA, but without the preset boxes or pick-up dates. Stakeholders pay at the beginning of the season, shop at one of our two market locations, and deduct monies from their debit account as the season goes on. And for helping us out, stakeholders get a produce bonus tied to the size of the original contribution.
You can start off the season with $100, $300, or $500 in your stakeholder account. If you commit…
- $100, you can purchase $110 worth of produce over the course of the season
- $300, you can purchase $345 worth of produce over the course of the season
- $500, you can purchase $600 worth of produce over the course of the season
If you end up with money left over at the end of the year, you can roll it over to next year. Sounds pretty easy, right?
